The
Intergovernmental Water Board (IWB) is seeking a volunteer to fill its at-large
member position. The board represents nearly
60,000 water customers in Durham, King City, two-thirds of Tigard and the
Tigard Water District. The board makes
recommendations and advises the Tigard City Council on drinking water issues.
The
IWB consists of five members. Each jurisdiction is represented by one member
and one member is appointed at-large.
The at-large member is selected by majority vote of the other members. Individuals who apply for the position must be
available for IWB meetings held on the second Wednesday of each month at 5:30
p.m. Attendance at other meetings may also be required. The at-large member’s term will run through
December 31, 2013.
